Terms of Use — Providers

Version 1.0 — May 2026

1. Purpose and Definitions

These Terms of Use ("Terms") define the rules applicable to service providers using the Shizu platform. By registering, the provider unconditionally accepts these Terms.

"Shizu" refers to the connection platform operated from Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. "Provider" means any individual offering services through the platform. "Client" means any person booking a service. "Assignment" means a booked and confirmed service.

2. Registration and Verification

Registration is free. All providers must submit a valid identity document and at least one photo of their work. Shizu performs a manual verification before activating any account. Shizu reserves the right to refuse or deactivate any account without explanation.

3. Commission and Payment

Shizu takes a 15% commission on each completed assignment. The provider receives 85% of the assignment amount. Payment is made via Mobile Money within 48 business hours after the client confirms the assignment. No payment is made for disputed or cancelled assignments.

4. Provider Obligations

  • Punctuality: arrive at the agreed time or notify the client at least 30 minutes before any delay.
  • Quality: guarantee work consistent with the service description and professional standards.
  • Respect: maintain respectful behavior toward clients, their families, and their homes.
  • Communication: respond to messages from Shizu and clients within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Honesty: do not overstate your skills or the time required to complete an assignment.
  • Billing exclusivity: all billing goes exclusively through the platform. Direct payments outside the platform are not permitted.

5. Prohibited Actions

  • Soliciting or accepting payments directly from clients outside the platform.
  • Sharing clients' personal contact details with third parties.
  • Performing unsafe or dangerous work.
  • Carrying out additional unplanned work without the client's prior agreement.
  • Engaging in aggressive, harassing, or discriminatory behavior toward a client.
  • Creating multiple accounts or using an account belonging to another person.
  • Providing false information during registration or on any assignment.

6. Sanctions

  • Minor violation (unannounced delay, late communication): written warning.
  • Serious violation (off-platform payment, disrespectful behavior, repeated poor work): temporary suspension of 7 to 30 days.
  • Severe violation (fraud, violence, harassment, theft): permanent deactivation without compensation.

7. Cancellation Policy

  • Provider cancellation more than 4 hours before: no penalty for the first incident; formal warning from the second in the same month.
  • Provider cancellation less than 4 hours before: automatic warning; two late cancellations in the same month result in suspension.
  • Client cancellation: the provider is compensated according to the policy described in the Client Terms.

8. Reviews and Reputation

Clients may leave a review after each assignment. The provider may report an abusive review to Shizu but cannot request removal of a good-faith review. A provider whose rating falls below 3/5 after at least 10 reviews will have their account reviewed.

9. Termination

The provider may close their account at any time by contacting Shizu at contact@shizu.pro. Ongoing assignments must be completed before the account is closed. Shizu may close an account at any time for violation of these Terms.

10. Liability

Shizu is a connection platform and is not party to the service contract between the provider and the client. Shizu does not guarantee a minimum volume of assignments. The provider is solely responsible for the quality of their work and compliance with applicable Ivorian law.

11. Data Protection

The provider's personal data is processed in accordance with Shizu's Privacy Policy, available at www.shizu.pro/privacy. It is used exclusively for client matching, identity verification, and platform improvement.

12. Amendments

Shizu reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Providers will be notified by email or in-app notification. Continued use of the platform after notification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
